I provide a supportive, down-to-earth space where both children and adults can feel understood, respected, and empowered to grow. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, ADHD, behavioral challenges, life transitions, or relationship stress, I work collaboratively with you to create meaningful and lasting change. With children and adolescents, I focus on building trust, improving emotional regulation, and strengthening communication skills in ways that feel engaging and age-appropriate. I also partner closely with parents and caregivers to provide practical strategies that support progress at home and in school.
For adults, I offer a compassionate, goal-oriented approach that helps you better understand patterns, manage stress, and develop healthier coping skills. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or simply feeling stuck, we’ll work together to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.
My approach is individualized, evidence-based, and grounded in real-life application—because therapy should not only feel supportive, but also effective.

I approach therapy from a “person-centered”, whole wellness model. My style of therapy is more “laid back” and I aim to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for clients. I am an LGBTQIA+ ally. I specialize in trauma, grief, and career counseling but I am looking forward to expanding into identity counseling and other needs for the LGTBQIA+ community.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, Targeted Case Manager, Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I have 8+ years of experience working with clients with substance use disorders, PTSD, anxiety, and a range of other concerns.
I am originally from Prestonsburg, and I am excited to return to offer my services for those in my hometown and virtually to clients across Kentucky. I also look forward to working in the supportive environment provided at PsychShift,LLC and hope to extend that support to my clients!
